For my husband

I remember reading that several of you are on a daily med for acid reflux. My husband is finally seeing the doctor about his (after much nagging) and it would be good to know what you all thinks helps. He is on no other medication and doesn't have COPD.

I am on acid reflux but hesitate to give too much advice. Best consult the GP, as there several different sorts. What sits one etc .....

I take Omeprazole 20mg daily but don't know if it really makes a difference.

I take Omeprozole find them very good, also two of my sons and son in law take them.

Son- in - law swears by them as he also has hiatus hernia.

You could try giving him less stress,, and learn to cook,,,,,,,,,,, hahahahahahahahahahhahahaha ,,,could not resist it,,,, sorry sorry sorry

Hi Lynne,before I had my op.for the hernia,was having awful reflux, and found that Nexus,was the only comfort to me,(on script.) was marvellous,highly recommend it.Glad he is going to the Docs.to get a proper diagnosis.Good luck!

I take lamprozole think thats how its spelt, have no issues anymore..

Hi Lnne,

I take 20mg Omeprazole 1 twice a day. I have hiatus hernia which causes acid reflux but this medication keeps it under control very well. I also avoid very spicy food, curries etc. Hope he soon gets sorted.
