I am very worried about John, he seems to have gone downhill suddenly. The weather here in Spain is very hot but not humid and over the past 4 years since being diagnosed with PF the weather has never worried him. He gets very confused also. Is it possible that the heat could suddenly affect him? We have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow but he really needs to see his consultant. The last appointment in March was cancelled for obvious reasons and we still have not heard about a new one. If times were different I would take him to A&E but scared to now. He does no exercise now due to getting totally breathless so that doesn’t help. Can you have an infection even though your Sputum is clear? I know the diagnosis for PF is bad I only hope this is not the end. Sorry to rant on but so frightened and unhappy. Love Carole x

Oh bless you Carole, that does sound worrying. I do think it could be the heat. Is John drinking lots of water? He may have a UTi which often causes confusion. Can you contact his consultant?
I’ll be thinking of you both and hoping things improve. Lots of love and hugs, Carole xxx 💖❤️❤️❤️💖🌈
I have to agree I would certainly take him to A&E. Please keep us updated on how he is. Thinking of you both take care and have a good day 🤗 Bernadette xxx🌈
Oh Carole I’m so sorry to hear John is so unwell. It must be such a worry for you and no wonder you are feeing frightened.
I think you have had some good advice from your friends above. I know you will do what you consider right and the right time. Is there anywhere you can get clinical advice over the weekend. I hope so, for John’s health and for your peace of mind.
Thank you Corin but here in Spain Farmacia do not open on Sundays, although I believe there is always an emergency chemist not to far away but they would not test a specimen. We have doctor’s appointment tomorrow so hopefully get help there. He is slightly better today, still really breathless but not confused as much. Thanks for your help.
I’m so sorry Carole, what a worry. I expect the doctor’s appointment can’t come soon enough for you. I hope you get reassuring news tomorrow, ie it turns out to be something straightforward and easily treated. If he worsens overnight don’t hesitate to get help. Let us know the outcome.
I'm very sorry to read about John. How very worrying for you. I think the heat, humid or not can cause all sorts of havoc. Please do let us know what they consultant says. I'm the mean time , do you have air-conditioning? Keep as cool as possible and keep hydrated, you too. Sending much love to you both. xx 🙋🐕 And treats for Rosie 🍪🍪🍪 🐕
Hi Carole, Sorry to hear this about John. Where are you in Spain? I forgot. My Daughter is the Medical Translator for Expats in Torrevieja, Costa Blanca. She has many times gone Direct to A & E, they do have English Speaking Staff. Find out your Local Emergency Number, it will be in all the Free English News Papers there. I do hope all goes well with John's Appointment Today. Thinking of you Both Carole. Much Love. C. XXX
Thank you Carolina we are in the province of Almería in a village called Arboleas not far from Mojacar. We do have a regular translater but if the doctor today does send us to A&E it’s rather short notice for her. I wish I lived nearer your daughter!! Will let you know how we get on. Lots of love Carole 😘💕❤️💐
