If my memory serves me right I saw one with feathers on a documentary about dinosaurs, it layed the egg & the bunny pinched it, I think that,s why it has to bring one to us every Easter

Well, the chicken, in whatever form it first was in the beginning, must have come first and then evolved to lay its young in eggs.

Could it have been to do with the big bang, or willie wonkers chocolate bunny egg factory, or maybe him upstairs got dose of delhi belli and the egg was the end result ?? ??

the egg came from a single cell,a billion yrs ago.

i have a very brainy husband, where i am just border line intellience, so i am very often wrong sometimes it is painful to think i was right and i wasnt.

I heard the answser to that on QI (TV programme).

A chicken and an egg went off to make love. After the deed was done one said to the other "Well that answers that age old question. lol
