Hi, it's just occurred to me that this is only 3 weeks away, yet I've had nothing in writing about it, either from my Housing Trust or the Housing Benefits Office. Has anyone else had any correspondence? Libby
Anyone noticed how this does not effect you if you rent from a private landlord? One has to wonder how many MP's are landlords. I know it is cynical but could this be a way to put more money into the pockets of the likes of them?
Yes derrylynne It does seem unfair if it`s true that renters of private landlords aren`t affected. But some of them will get Housing benefit surely? And are the council ready and able to provide alternative accomodation for their tenants? MPs don`t live in the real world, at least not in our world. For once I`m glad to be a pensioner, we seem to be the luckiest at the moment or at least until we have to go into care and then they can make us sell our houses to pay for that. I want to know how Scotland manage their affairs they really do care from the cradle to the grave. Just having a rant ! Have had three Payment protection calls, post that was only" We`ll beat your insurance quote", Talk Talk, BT Infinity etc and a packet of biscuits that I couldn`t get into and some inhalers are hard to unwrap- just glad I`m not in the middle of a bad asthma attack at the time!!!! Moan over! Keep well all, Sheila
