prior to xmas and upto today I have had conjuctivitus and the usual coughing of fluid, however over the last few weeks I have been getting aching in my lower limbs this has gradually moved from my ankles to my hips, has anyone else experienced this? oh any alternative remedies for conjuctivitus will be welcome eye drops don,t work

Did you get the eyedrops from the doctor as over the counter drops won't work on this infection.

yes I did but rather than clearing the infection its now in both eyes my ex said I should try an eye wash

Go back to your GP. Conjunctivitis is highly infectious. You may need more drops/ointmrnt. I don't think an eye wash would get rid of it.

Have you been on steroids? I've just come off them after 20 months and I've got joint pain - think the steroids have been masking the general aches and pains of getting older!

I have ILD so am permanently on steroids and other immunosuppresants to manage my condition

I'd see your GP or consultant then.
