I'm on 40 mg ADs and the last few days have gone really depressed again. Rang the Doctor who told me to double up but felt awful, back on 40 mg, they can take up to 6 weeks to kick in but I suppose you know that, maybe you need a different one, sometimes it can take 5 goes before the right one is found

Well I am on 60mg a day and I don't feel a bit guilty that I'm on such a high dose because I need it. It means that most days I have a positive outlook on life.

I recently went on a STEPS course (one of these physcological courses which encourages you to release your potential). The STEPS course didn't take away all my frustrations to do with my Interstitial Lung Disease but it did help me set goals for the future.

Good luck Mommalou, whether it is more or different tablets you go for or some form of talking therapy. We are all entitled to a relatively happy life even with a Chronic illness.

Regards

Mandy
