I think you need a little assurance from either your practice nurse or the BLF nurse, just to putyour mind at rest. Tempted to say it is the time of year before Christmas but need to be proved right.
Hi Meg.Is it possible you took an extra puff of seretide? I agree with Annie, it sounds like you need a bit of assurance (we all do at times) As you have been checked out,the only thing I could guess at,would you have been having a nightmare?? Hope things settle down for you, cheers Wendells x
Thank you,ur probably right,I found it rather frightening,,but I will have a chat with go,as I'm seeing her on tues anyway, thank u so much for ur replies
This happened to me last night, I'd only been asleep about half an hour and woke with my heart racing and breathing very heavily. I felt as though I'd run a marathon and maybe I had, in my dreams (strangely, in my dreams, I have no lung problems and am fit and healthy, such a disappointment when I wake up!) It took me about an hour to calm down and then I didn't fall asleep until 11am today and woke at 5pm! So behind with my drugs and my lungs know it!) As Wendells says, accidentally taking too much of your inhaler could definitely be the problem. As always though, best to check it out with your doctor.
