Just learned that ATOS have won the OH contract at work. I wonder if there will be a conflict of interests if on one hand they deem you unable to work and medically retire you but when you go to try and sign on and they then tell you that you are capable and fit for work!

ATOS - an interesting scenario
Hmmm, yes. I expect they'll do whatever it takes to make them most money under the terms of the contract. Seems to me that's all they're interested in
It's obvious to me that when you contract out, the quality of staff is likely to suffer, what do they care about the staff or the company?

Had to laugh at this one!
My goodness Marie, you just can't get away from the b's can you? Does seem a conflict of interests there to me.

Of course its all about money. BUT its the Governement that lets them do it.
Believe such a scenario has already played out where a member of staff at the DWP was medically retired after six months sickness leave by an ATOS medical professional who carry out that role for the civil service, when fourteen weeks later that same person was found fit for work by ATOS their defense was that the criteria were different in each test. well hello Sherlock who would ever have guessed that
The main criteria being which verdict earned ATOS the most cash.
