My test results.

PR 83, SPO2 98 %

FEV1 0.89 (39%), FVC 1.82 (63 %) PEF 1.08 (15%), FER 48.9

MEF 0.65 (27 %), MVV 33.4 (39%), FET 5.37

What is the interpretation of these readings?

Do I have COPD if so to what degree?

How can I improve the above results?

your doctor or consultant will be able to explain your results and about any lung condition you may have.

People with a lung condition can benefit greatly from attending a pulmonary rehabilitation course which helps give understanding, helps us manage it and helps keep our condition stable.

From personal experience of living with a lung condition the most important things I feel include a healthy diet, avoiding people with colds and flu wherever we can and regular exercise.

Stopping smoking is top of the list for anyone who still smokes.
