as well as all the great info from BLF, see these...
American site hope it's been checked

Personally, I ignore many of the American sites as they tend to have biased information due to being sponsored, or are even set up by, the drug companies themselves. A lot of the findings are due to their own research. I'm not saying that's the case here, but my reason for not even going to look. I much prefer to have reliable sources, like the NHS.UK site.

Do I smell discord!!
just makes me sad when people make judgements without actually looking at something to make a judgement. and when that can then influence others to miss potential info/ opportunities.
Tend to agree with you, Julie. People will tend to make sweeping statements in this country without investigation. Just because something is American - it tends to get prejudged. You were trying to help.
thanks.. you have made me feel better. x
The way it should be supporting each other without making judgements on what is suitable when that is for the moderators to decide. Thanks for sharing
agreed
julie my husband owes his life to America - he has a brilliant aorta replaced heart valve made in Minisotta, pacemaker/defibrillator also US made.
And now, thanks to one of your links I have now got myself the best mucus clearing device for COPD, bronchiectasis aspergillus called a Lung Flute which works by silent resonate frequency, it really does work well at clearing mucus secretions from everywhere in the lung,
deep down as well, easy to use too. made in America !
It cost about £44 which is nothing if it's going to extend my life. I bought it from Germany as it costs more to ship from America. It is almost unheard of here in UK. We definitely will not get one from NHS.
I am pleased I did not ignore America, Thank you julie.

PS julie it was one of your previous links that eventually led me to the flute, can't remember which one but I have the address for the Lung Flute in Germany, will post it on here soon, have filed it away.

Hi Zube - - re your words about a "Lung Flute" available from Germany, never heard of it before, - Please let us know the details where it can be obtained , I like many others splutter away badly when trying to shift this dam Mucus stuff. Many thanks - Vittorio.
hello vittorio, I have posted the details on main blog. Do you have bronchi or copd ? do you have an acapella which is a similar device available on nhs. It is also good but I have only just been given one, thanks to another wonderful member on here so I have not had long enough to trial it, or the flute properly. I am determined to clear this gunk and keep as well as possible, so far I am pleased to say improving steadily, touch wood !

Thanks Zube ! - I have COPD for my sins!, forgive my ignorance , but unaware of what an "Acapella is . - every now and again I'me driven nuts with this damned mucus, in fact on three occasions, I was puffing and spluttering so bad ,- using up the precious oxygen for breathing, shoving my fingers down my throat ( not to be recommended ! ) , just getting this stuff up, I fineshed up on Nebuliser in Hospital to get normal breathing back , so ANYTHING that can push this gunk out more easier than trying to " BLAST " it out ! , would be very much appreciated - lots of thanklies for further details - Vittorio, and good health to you also !!!.
that's really wonderful - thanks for sharing this info. x
Useful. Thank you. Also interested in the 'flute'.
thanks julie very helpfull info
Julie I somehow missed this post when you originally put it up but have got here eventually. I was inclined to be suspicious because so many of these websites are not really very helpful and some can be horrendous. However, this is a good one and I just wanted to thank you for the link - interesting reading. x
