Got up to a slow start againt this morning, we had arranged to go out for lunch with some old friends and were trying to find excuses not to go. Eventually we decided it was too late to cancel and got ready.

We got there early so we were sure we would not be standing around. The table was reserved but unfortunately down some steps which my husband could not manage, the waitress immediately changed us to another accessible table.

The food was delish I usually have a small appetite but today I ate for England, three different meats, roasties ,veg, pigs in bacon and yorkshire pud. I could not do the sweets.

We had a lovely time, thank goodnes we decided to make the effort, forgot how nice it is not to have to cook yourself.

No tea tonight.

Hope you have had a nice day.

sounds lovely...........we have to kick ourselves to go out sometimes like you said. Its easier staying in isn't it and we forget how great going out is. Glad you had a nice lunch, my mouth is watering. I went down my parents, mam cooked a nice pork joint. Delish too!
