I had a very nice lunch!

In May, my son and his wife gave me a voucher for a posh restaurant in a nice little village not too far away. Unfortunately, the vertigo and chest infections got in the way of me booking up but I've now been free of vertigo for over three weeks and had no chest infection so yesterday we did the deed!

What a lovely lunch we had - a real treat! The sun was shining so we were able to leave the car in the car park after and take a short stroll up the high street. It was hard work and today I found out why - another chest infection has started! Oh well, back on the amoxicillin and prednisilone today but at least I can look back at the day I had my birthday lunch and say it was a lovely day.

Sounds like a perfect day Moy. How fortunate that you managed to enjoy it between infections. I take it the lovely Autumnal sunshine is still shining on the UK. Hope this infection passes quickly and you can get out on the sun again soon.

It's certainly shining in Sussex, Billiejean_2. Yes, it will be nice to get out again - not today, but maybe tomorrow when the pills have kicked in! xx Moy

I'm so glad that you had such a lovely day and that the 'orrible vertigo is staying away.❤️

What a lovely post. Reminds me to be more positive. I'm also 3 weeks without a chest infection but living in dread of the next one.

Thank you for being so grateful for the good days. I'll try to be like you.

Best wishes

Thanks, Margaret. Taking it easy today, but not feeling bad. Spoke too soon about the vertigo as had another attack last night, but it only lasted a couple of hours and I slept for part of that. It meant I cancelled our planned trip out with the family today as I often get the vertigo two days in a row and so decided to let them go out on their own and not have to worry about me. Just as well with this chest, anyway.

I hope you are feeling a bit better today.

xx Moy

You sound a bit brighter today. Good you have had a go at mending the kaftan even if you're not so happy with the result. Am sure it will be fine! Glad the doc has put the meds on your prescription - just hope you get them now. Lytham might have been nice but, as you say, may be just too much just now. Next time perhaps. Take care. xx Moy
