Does taking Symbicort put weight on ??

Is Symbacort the same as Serentide. I am putting my much needed weight gain down to stopping smoking but didn't link it with meds as I was frighteningly thin for five years whilst taking meds and only recently stopped smoking.

I think it is unlikely that Symbicort causes weight gain, oral steriods will cause weight gain but inhaled steriods do not. I use Symbicort and my weight gain is down to many years of using oral steriods.

I have put on weight and I use symbicort twice a day also
