In the middle of the night when I reach for my glass of water my hands shake so much it takes me all my time not to spill it, and when I get up to go to the bathroom my whole body shakes. I am still like this for a couple of hours in the morning after I get up.
Does anyone else have this problem.

I do but not as bad as you pollyjj, Some inhalers cause it.
This can be a very embarrassing problem and I'm sorry to hear you're suffering it at the moment pollyjj I stopped going out for meals for a while because I couldn't hold a fork to my mouth, my hands shook that badly. I thought I was starting with Parkinsons disease
Fortunately, this only happened when I was on a course of steroids due to a chest infection and once I'd stopped taking them the 'shakes' faded to the point that they are hardly noticeable now
Yep, steroids will do it both in inhalers and oral steroids. There is also a condition called 'flappy hands' which happens if you get a coughing fit etc. I find the 'shakes' are worse when I am keeping my hands and arms close in as if you were eating, but at distance, with outstretched arms it greatly reduces or stops.
