We have been invited to a wedding next July. Is it going to be too hot to cope with, when you have COPD?

has anyone beeen to Cyprus in July?
I dont want to dishearten you but I feel it necessary to be honest on this site. We went to Paphos this year beginning of June for 2 weeks. It was 29 to 34 C with 93 to 98% humidity and only dropped to 27 C at night, my poor husband found it impossible and suffered very bad with SOB. Even though we had air con in the apartment plus of course his medication and inhalers.
We spoke to many locals about the high temperatures and humidity they said "Oh, it gets alot worse July and August" but I dont know about this.
I will advise you not to take much notice of average temperatures for an area as these are changing worldwide now.
I have asked my husband if he would return to Cyprus and his answer was " NO WAY it was far to hot and difficult for me". Sorry!!!!!!
Thanks for being honest; swallow and another person replied too. I had heard it was and wanted to know what someone who had COPD felt like as Bernie was going come what may! Now he has realized with everything that is being said here, it is not an good idea to go at that time. I am glad I asked thanks for replying. xx
I replied to your post in questions.x
Yes I saw your post swallow, and took it on board as they say. We had a lovley holiday in Poole just outside it in a luxury caravan! The weather was wet! It doidnt stop us getting out but Bernie had to rest up a day afterwards. We have tried Hotels, B & B but found it easier in the Caravan and as it was new (18months old) a decent bed and comfortable it made it worthwhile. Thanks agan xx
Latest update. After much discussion we decided not to go to Cyprus in July. Even a nurse at a hospital said the same and they were ok, not like my hubby with COPD. If they found it hot we would too. I am glad of all the advise and ideas on here. Thanks every one. xx
