my name is bob i was diagnosed with copd in 2010 but it did not affect me till early this year since then i am breathless with the least activity i can only walk approx 40 metres and going upstairs is a big problem but i only have moderate copd and i feel that my symptoms are worse than they should be for moderate copd i also get chest infections regular there does not seem to be a week when i have not got a infection so antibiotics are on tap lately for the last 8 weeks

Hi Gordon and thanks for your message of support its appreciated . My father is end case copd and i have looked afte him for the last few years but now its got me and its difficult even though i have experienced it with my father having gone through these stages with my dad it supprises me that i am moderate copd but my difficulties walking and breathin in general seem worse than most people have with moderate copd I will be going to the pulmonary rehabilitation programme soon . i have been follwing this site for a few weeks now and i think its a great help and support and there are so many helpful people thankyou.
