I wonder if anyone attends Lancashire Teaching Hospital Respiratory clinic and how do you find it. This is where I was referred to find out if I have any lung condition. I have had my HRCT and Lung Function Tests and am waiting for the results. I don't want details just an idea of what to expect, TIA.

@which one Chorley or Preston I’ve been at both?
I saw the consultant at Chorley.
Although both have faults I found Chorley better the doctors at Preston seem very disinterested to the point I want to be transferred back to Chorley. Being from Leyand, Chorley is also closer for me. However Chorley cancelled my appointment 3 times then discharged me for not turning up so you have to watch them and insist on being seen and don’t let them cancel appointments.
I go to royal preston but often have lft and some specialised bloods and HR CT scan at chorley- get sent to preston.
Are the consultants the same there? I saw Dr Salem, who seemed a nice chap, even my husband thought he had a nice manner and sense of humour.
I don't think so.its a big unit at preston with lung physio, bloods, xrays, biologics, various clinics,02 ,ventilation etc all within the unit..Good,helpful to have a specialist yr happy with x
Chorley is fine - I have being going to that hospital departmetfor years.
