This painting really is not serious - I started to paint in some pink montains - Then I was stuck for ideas, it happens.
So I just added bit I had done in past paintings.

That's a welcome sight as we nr the longest day,b4 countdown to spring begins xx
Thank you Pat - Not keen on winter scenes. xx
Lots to admire there Ern. Is that an ever-so slight curve to the horizon? I do like all the added bits! Mountains reminds me of trigonometry! I love the circular pond in the middle and the blue flowers on the edge. And if it was my last day, I'd dive into those clouds.
How strange Ern, I never noticed the path. Now that I look again I'm thinking of a long scarf, and looking again, I think the roses have a scent. You have a gift for the miniature.
I like it! But I love your flowers and the snow on the mountains, very nice!
just what we are all waiting for now - lovely bright Spring, blossoms ,lambs, birdies and even pink mountains xxx
It’s heart lifting and joyful. Just what we need on dreary dark days. Thank you
Your painting is a cheerful way to start the week, Ern. Thank you for posting. 🤗
Lovely picture, Colourful, calming. Thank you for brightening the morning.
Hi Ern, lovely painting as always. I love the addition of the bird on the railings. Looks like a little white owl to me. Take care my friend😊❤️xxx
Bright and cheerful is most welcome. xxx
Yes we are damp here what I call a non day where weather is concerned. But we did have some wonderful birdsong this morning. Maybe it was because my husband changed their baths at the weekend. We don't have bird feeders but I have lots of bird friendly shrubs ,trees and bushes, plus lots of berries etc. . I have left branches sticking out so that they can perch above the bird baths and preen afterwards. Mind I am welcoming the milder weather. Our sheep across the road have left with the farmer. The old fox had taken to nipping at their legs. Mind they had stripped all the grass so would have gone soon anyhow. Take care Ern and keep them coming. xx
We have a woman down the streett who attrects birds, we have two cats so not an option for us, when first married we had 50 budgies and lovebirds free flying in a avery we made, that was good fun xx
Yes that is why I have never had a bird feeder as always had cats. My berries were in thick set brambles or high up so more cat proof. Even though we are without feline right now we have neighbours with cats and so would still protect by not feeding. Also there are those in the village who are prolific feeders of birds and also have rats. I think they come for easy pickings. The aviary sounds wonderful. I am not confident handling birds but watch and listen. xx
Nice Ern. Christmas greetings to you. Diane 🎄🥳
