3 month check

I had part of my lower left lung removed in June and have a telephone call check up appointment with my surgeon in mid October should i be having a ct scan or xray before this as i have not received an appointment for this yet as i understood i needed this before the check up

Why don’t you ring the consultant secretary and check? It may well be that this check up is a simple “how are you doing now” and the consultant will then order any further tests or scans.

I would do as Bevvy suggests and ring the secretary, although would have thought it would have been part and parcel of the check up. Hope you are feeling OK x

thank you yes i thought it was part of the check ups from what he said about them checking on me for the next 5 years and i am feeling good thank you just a bit more breathless than usewall bit i expected that

I would ask if you need a CT scan as I did then they can see if the op was successful

After a lobectomy 2 years ago, I have a CT scan every 6 months. My dr said IF after 2 years the cancer hasn't returned, I will go to a scan once a year. Hope you're doing well.

Thank you I have checked and it seems the xray i had in August will be used in the phone call instead of a scan i am doing well so far and i hope you continue good health
