I went to my local private hospital this morning where I was first diagnosed with copd nearly 10 years ago, I got to see the new chest specialist within 20 minutes. After a long talk I had a xray that she compared it to one that I had 6 years ago, and there was hardly any noticeable difference. She said that she couldn't really see any pneumonia in my lungs, but maybe there was a little bit, she heard whizzing and maybe a little mucus but said it wasn't serious.
They medication she gave was puroxan 400mg to take one pill after breakfast.
Also I was given a steroid injection for inflammation.
All the other meditations I already have but I was to increase the doses for the next two weeks then gradually cut down.
She seems to think that it was Gred that caused the problems and I have to be more focused on how I handle it in the future.
Her diagnosis was copd exacerbation.
No further appointment was made.
........
As I have mentioned earlier that I have an appointment tomorrow morning to see a lung specialist at a government hospital and I am really in two minds whether to keep it and see what the say, or just settle for what happened today.
Last night I couldn't sleep as breathing was almost impossible.
I can breath now but can hardly walk 10 steps without needing to sit down.
Thank you all for the wonderful replies and kind hearted wishes...๐๐๐ฅ
