Hi it’s a mind field. I’ve an earlier post on it. Some advice from others there.

my husband has just been put on oxygen, I was told by the people who deliver this that you can order worldwide, not sure where you contact but maybe try getting info from the company who deliver the oxygen to your home .

Hello,

I am sure it is possible but as BreatheasyBe has said it isn’t easy. I too have been looking at this for a while.

When I had a POC and pre Brexit I used to travel widely in Spain for the winter.

You say you are on 4lpm/10 hours a day.

Is this pulse or constant via a POC or bottles or concentrator or liquid oxygen ?

Flying with bottles or liquid is impossible

Flying with a POC is possible providing it is one recognised by the FAA. If you intend to Fly have you had a Hypoxic challenge test ? If flying you will need a Fit to Fly letter from your GP.

Ferry. It is only possible to take a small number of bottles aboard for the journey - 6 I think I recall ? A POC is ok. Liquid is out.

Channel Tunnel crossing - I don’t know, haven’t investigated.

Train would be possible with a POC but need a huge amount of organisation to manage bottles or LOX

NHS equipment cannot be taken out of the country. All this has to be paid for privately.

Here is a link to rental equipment ( sent to me by a friend who lives in Spain )

I appreciate this isn’t a positive post, but unless anyone else knows of any easier way then it is the best current information I have.

Given my prescription is 4.5 litres per min, constant flow albeit ambulatory. I can’t see a way for me to get to Spain again.

Go well,

Pauline

I don't need it to fly I can travel that amount of time without oxygen it's just for my stay at the hotel

See the information here. The cabin pressure while flying can affect our levels of oxygen.

I am on NHS O2 24x7 and when I went to France I was told I could have oxygen delivered over there through the contracts. This was pre-Brexit so we may have busted the arrangement but it might be worth asking.
