request special assistance if you have limited mobility.
Do take travel insurance
One of the safest modes of travel. The only one where lungies are sometimes expected to take a fitness to fly test first - check with your GP or consultant whether you would need one.
When I'm travelling in something I'm not comfortable in, I take a good book to take up all my attention, and headphones to cancel out the noise.
All the best xx

Hi Ladyinavan
I have added some links below for you about travelling with a lung condition.

I go abroad on holiday a few times a year. I have never experienced any problem flying. I use Special Assistance because I am unable to walk the distances to the gates, or stand in queues, because of my Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis as well as COPD.
