Gorgeous colours and the accidental sunset doesn't look accidental! You've brought another ray of sunshine to a soggy Birmingham day! Thanks Ern. Love and hugs. Jan xxx
Absolutely beautiful Ern. A sight for sore eyes.can (almost) feel the sand and hear the sea rippling.the dolphins really add to it .love the colours ❤️xxxx
that’s what artistic license is for. It’s the artist’s prerogative to paint things as they see it. This is such a cheerful painting. Thank you for the sunshine !
Yet again a lovely picture from you, it reminds me of a holiday I had last year on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, the sunsets there were amazing, there were Humpback Whales in the bay, but your dolphins are near enough! 😁 Thank you for sharing Ern. ❤️
That's a beautiful picture Ern007. It's got so much detail in it. And the way you have the colours changing from the sea upto the sky. Hope your keeping as well as possible. Brian
Hi Brian, Been for eye injection, a lot of fluid. Nurse wants me to change drug , but and used to and ok with LUCENTIS - £750 a shot. Thank you for comment , I had a magenta sky and the yellow with that made that orange. - hope you are keeping as well as you can/
Hope everything goes well for you Ern007. It's not good getting older. I have been diagnosed with Corneal Dystrophy now and have to put eye drops in 5 times a day now. Just hope they are helping
Lovely thank you Ern, what are the rules about light & dark? Whatever they are breaking them has worked for this scene 😊👍. Pleased you challenged the change of drug. If it works why change it?? Take care xxx
Well the sun was setting and the palms Silhouetted against the sky.
I did not want the leaves green, as that would have been to much - However I did not follow through with dark on beach as I wanted a bright picture, so I took artistic licence to paint that way. xx Thank you and take care - my eyes are not right, ARMV is progressive. But I manage to drive, and paint, find reading difficult . xxx
Thank you - Not a rule more a convention,. My eyes, been on injections over 5 years, but I manage, - I do take care - I fell down stairs trice, the second time full length, then we knew we needed same level accommodation , rather have that easier. I did fall here, caused by not wearing slipper, I walked on wood floor and down I went. I take no more chances - You also take great care xxx
Oh goodness! Falling full length of the stairs - how scary that must have been! Good you're all on one level now. And you have so much to deal with health wise. So pleased that you still find painting a distraction from it all. 🙂❤️xxx
First hall I was able to twist and no damage of than carpet burn, Second full from top to bottom thats when I was advised to move. Now I take a lot of care. Painting I used to paint watercolours 35 years ago, then my work with \hours so long, I could not find time to paint, then when i could I started paining acrylics - Never looked looked back xx
Yes wise to move. Think also we have (well know I do) to learn to concentrate on what we are doing rather than what we need to do next. I have the attention span of a goldfish nowadays 🙄. Take great care of yourself. So pleased for you (& all of us here on the site) that you took up painting again 👍😊 xxx
Moving was right for us - I like the village life. I had reservations but there was no need.
It was strange how I got back in art - When we moved I took (I think) some DVD's to a charity shop, they was a new box of pastels and Anne bought them for me, I never did use them but, it kindled something, I sent for canvases and paint /brushes to Amazon and I was off again but with a brand new medium. Acrylic.
Thanks probably, it was that cold early this morning, Ice spray did not melt the ice, Anne went and got warm water, only way we could clear the frost .
