Do we know where cass lives in japan . Think have asked before but cannot remember. There have been lots more quakes ,dozens since all recorded in web site Volcano Discovery.

Thank you, thank you so much for thinking of me. We were having a really good time yesterday. Until it all went pear shaped and the house felt like it was sailing on the sea of Japan. We all instinctively sat on the floor until the swaying passed. We are 370 km from the epicenter and it was very unpleasant. So I cannot imagine what the poor people on the northern coast are going through right now. New year's day is the most important calendar day for the Japanese. For many it is the only time of year they see their loved ones living far away. I am so saddened that this has happened. But I and my family are safe. Thank you again. xx

This is awful news and I feel so sad earthquake happened again in Japan and so many people are affected again losing their homes and lives 👍🙏

Glad you’re okay Cas. What an awful tragedy to happen especially in New Year’s Day. I’ve just been watching the horrific images of the plane that hit another when landing at Tokyo airport Thank goodness the passengers escaped. Sadly I think 5 of the crew have died. so glad to hear from you. earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are when we realise the fragility of our lives and now it seems the winds are increasing too and leaves us helpless too..

as long as you are safe and still have your home. the pictures we have seen are horrific and now the threat of a tsunami for the west coast. All very frightening.
