The best advice I can give you is to speak with your GP. Left sided shoulder pain can have a number of causes. Those need to be eliminated before medications are blamed .
Guten tag Tara,
Interestingly enough I use Trimbow and also Carbocisteine for COPD. The latter is only a recent addition to my medication. I also have a painful left shoulder but I think it is muscular and have at last been referred to physiotherapist after enduring nearly a year of discomfort. I think it is highly unlikely that your medication is the cause. You should consult your doctor to discuss, Your dry mouth symptoms are typical of using a steroid inhaler. If you don’t wash your mouth out after each use you are very likely to get Oral Thrush. This is treatable but you need to see your doctor to be prescribed the appropriate treatment. You can use a mouthwash such as Corsodyl which helps and does have properties that fight against the thrush bacteria. I was prescribed Nystatin suspension initially whilst in hospital, I have since completed a course of Fluconazole tablets, if possible rinse your mouth out but don’t swallow. Try brushing your teeth and finish off with a mouthwash. I use a spacer to deliver the Trimbow because it is more efficient, If you use this device make sure you clean the face mask regularly as this will get deposits from the steroid and give you infections, Hope this helps.
