And soooooo....

Well, knock me down with a feather! All the results from my pleural fluid have come back negative! No signs of cancer or heart failure! The doc did another ultra sound and there's very little fluid there now. She reckons about 450mls. Last time there was about a litre and 60mls was taken for testing. So the enigma continues. Then my daughter pipes up - "Could it have anything to do with her lymphoedema?" The doc said it could be. I'm having problems with my feet and toes right now and my compression socks don't seem to be doing much. It's the nodes in my groin. I have a large abdominal apron and it's obviously stopping the drainage. So now they want me to have a Thoracostomy to drain any remaining fluid. Don't like the sound of it but I will have sedation this time. Personally I'd prefer heroin and a double vodka!!! So it's now just wait for an Appt!

Thought I'd let you know, you've all been so good and kind and supportive....XXX
