Update on Phyllocontin replacement

Thank you to you all who took the time and trouble to reply about Phyllocontin replacement. The practice clinical pharmacist phoned yesterday lunchtime and we had a long chat. Uniphyllin has now been prescribed and our usual pharmacy delivered it this lunchtime, although it will be late October before Clifford starts them. Thanks to you I knew what I needed to check with the pharmacist, although I never needed to ask as she explained blood tests will be needed after 5 days and after the first month. She will phone hubby after his first month to see how he's getting on but in the meantime once he has started them to phone her or the GP with any any concerns. If need be the dosage with be adjusted. Your comments have been really helpful and appreciated. Joy
