Thanks everyone for your replies. At the moment l am on Fostair 200/6 and have Salamol for my reliever. My breathlessness has gotten worse in the last few months and am wondering if it is worth speaking to my consultant about a change.

Definitely - dont hang about Falcon. Ask for a medication review and tell him/her this has been going on for a while. Good luck :)

Hi I take Fostair and Salamol also I have used Ipratropium bromide 20micrograms/dose inhaler CFC free (Green Inhaler) - despite that my breathing has got worse and I was diagnosed with "Dyspnoea "

You could speak with you GP and see what you could take extra to what you have - Or you could be referred to your "consultant "

Whatever if your breathing is going worse, you need to be seen, Good luck

did you know fostair can be used as your reliever also. MART = maintenance and reliever therapy. Discuss with gp or respiratory nurse. There’s also triple therapy inhalers eg trelegy that may be beneficial. Defo get a review. Take care. 🦊xx

I would say definitely get a review, our diseases progress and change, so should our inhalers to compensate. Or it could be something entirely unrelated, hayfever as an example.

Good luck, let us know how you get on 😀 xx
