I started out after my transplant taking 72 pills a day. I'm now 'down' to 42 almost 2 1/2 years later. They are critical to survival after transplant! Sorting them out is my weekly -- chore !

I detest every tablet I take, which now totals 9 (5 of which are to make up the dose of one medication - tablet doses and all that). I scowl as I top up my weekly pill pot.

A while ago, whilst whinging at the research focus group someone mentioned I could have the pharmacist make up dosset boxes. That horrified me more than anything!

Anyway, as 2 of my meds are hospital dispenses, I don't think the pharmacist prepared dosset boxes would work.

I see I have some way to go before I'm competitive in this one.

Take 33 daily not including 3 pumps,Gaviscon 4times a day,and GTN spray most days,tablets increase to 44 tablets a day when have copd flare up which happened on six occasions on three of those had to have a two courses.Keeps us going thankful we have good medical care and support.Take care God bless.
