Hi everyone..I just want to know if a swollen mediastinal lymph node can go back to normal after recovering from a severe covid19 ? I mean after the infection has cleared

Sorry.. Not had Covid.. Thank goodness.. But suffer with Bronchiectasis.. You have just given rise to a thought... Would be so good if someone set up a Covid group.. For shared experience & advice. Andrew Gwynne.. MP.. in Denton suffers from 'long covid'.. May be worth a shout.

No had Covid myself but normally given time any swelling in a lymph node will gradually reduce. In some cases they can become blocked due to the effects of the infection. Best advice would be to keep an eye on it over the coming weeks and report back to your GP if you are worried.

Hi.. I have a mediastinal lymph node in chest wall(not from covid) and I was been scanned every 3 months.. Then 6 months and they just told me its a watch and wait!! I think it depends if symptoms are ongoing. Sorry not much help but that is all I know..
