What you are looking at here is a professional dog walker who has become βcastβ.
This happens when the walker suddenly becomes utterly exhausted from traipsing her bunionated feet through a winter of thick, clay like mud. No sooner than the sun begins to shine they quickly believe that the mud has come to an end.
(Foolishly, she cleaned off her wellies and put them away with great optimism only yesterday)
So great is her despondence that she may, without warning, keel over onto the ground. Unable to resume an upright position, she will remain on the floor until the next passerby, well, passes by.
When found, she may or may not be surrounded by dogs. This is a good indication of how long she has been lying there. If no dogs are present, (eventually, they will abandon her and wander away, believing her to be a lost cause) we can assume that she has been there for several hours, perhaps even days.
If anyone sees a walker in distress, please heave her up into a vertical position, whereupon she will resume walking.
Thank you. π

I didn't fall lovley I was just having a moment of pretend frustration over the mud .. this was the only dry spot on the walk hence me throwing myself lovingly upon it ππππ
That's so funny. I thought dogs were faithful friends who were supposed to sit by you for ever, like Greyfriars Bobby. Perhaps Stan would.πππππ° xxx
I laid there 5 mins and not one of them moved from my side in fact they all laid down not far away as if to say the boss is resting then we are to πππ
π€£π€£ love it. Will look out for similar around here. What is it with dogs that if you lie on the ground they immediately surround you π€·ββοΈ
Thanks for interesting story and picture. Few years ago used to sometimes take out my daughters dogs for countryside walks, couldnβt do now, lost strength. Hope you can carry on with your dog walking. Best wishes, Jean x
π€£ππ€£π thanks Bb, very funny. The dogs are very good not to run off. Weather should be improving next week so the mud should finally dry out . . for now anyway! Xx
It's the worst ever spring since time began π... I had double wet proofs on today and next week is going to be in the early 20 s here ...Mother nature has her ways π
