Yes I do. After a virus at xmas I was having worse problems. I have just been given a drug call spironolactone by my cardiologist to take daily ( or with furosemide if needed). To my surprise after taking it for a week ( without furosemide) my feet have stayed down for the last two days. Also I have far more energy. Maybe talk to your catdiologist or GP about it

Your cardiologist probably needs to rethink your drug regime.

I had this about 18 months ago. I had ECG and Echocardiagram which showed clear but ended up in A & E and then hospital. It was only then that a chest x ray revealed heart failure and I was in for a week whilst they drained all the fluid build up. I lost 10lbs in weight without the water. I came home with oxygen 24/7 to protect my heart as my oxygen levels dropped rapidly without it and also furosemide twice daily. So far I have not needed to go back to the cardiologist. Best of luck.

Are you being looked after by a heart nurse? You should limit your fluid intake. Mine is 1.5 to 2.0 litres per day. I'm a bloke and have an enlarged prostrate which doesn't help the situation. I am on Tamsolosin Hydrochloride and Bumentide 0.5mg, which I only take if I'm not going out, as I need to have a toilet handy for the morning. Never had swollen feet but had very swollen legs a few years ago, but all under control now.

I have swollen, blistered legs and have had for the past year. I am on 2 Frumil Tablets in the morning and 2 Furosemide Tablets at Lunchtime. I pee for Britain but my legs never reduce in size despite keeping them raised all day and have an adjustable bed and have my legs raised at night also. If I sit with my feet on the floor for any time my legs swell so much it’s sore to walk. Last year my legs burst they were so swollen and I required a blood transfusion of 2 pints of blood due to the blood I had lost and it took ages for my legs to heal up. I’m in fear of this happening again due to all the blisters but all GP says is “send me a picture of your legs” and she sends the District Nurse in. I’ve just recently been given 2 courses of antibiotics for Cellulitis in both legs and it’s still not cleared. I’m sick to the back teeth with all this.

I’m like you, if I’m going anywhere I don’t take my Furosemide, otherwise I’m looking for a loo every 5 minutes
