Again: i had a moan yesterday about... - Lung Conditions C...
Again
Pleased to hear you’re feeling a bit better now whit. You can breathe a little easier now. Take care xxx❤️
Thank goodness that you went back. I was aghast and very worried that they sent you home with both a pneumothorax and fluid (an empyema). That you actually finally came into contact with a professional respiratory doctor who knew what she was doing was next to a miracle. You need to take it easy now and keep an eye on it. When I had my empyema and later when I was given a pneumothorax during a procedure to insert a pacemaker it was followed by IV antibiotics to fend off an infection. ( bronch exacerbation)
Thank you for the update whit. Glad you are feeling a bit better. Take care x
phew, definitely worth going then! Hope you can start to feel much better
My new GP is a schoolgirl. It’s amazing what they teach kids at school these days. 😂
Did they keep u in, whit? That's a lot of fluid!I'm glad u feel bit better x
It must be good to have got rid of all that fluid. I hope the schoolgirl doctor stays around. Your story reminds me of when my daughter had appendicitis. This cool, young, black man came into the room. I thought he must be the porter since he seemed too young to be a doctor. He was the anaesthetist.😍
2 pints? Blimey - no wonder you feel better without that. Keep on feeling better
So glad they were able to help. Doctors are definitely getting younger!
👍👍💐💕💕
That would help tremendously. I am so glad you got some relief. Take it easy. xx 🙂
2 pints! No wonder you felt puffticated - what a great word, I’ll borrow that if it’s ok!
I hope your recovery continues well 🤞👍
Gosh a lot of fluid there. Thank goodness for that doctor. Take care. Xx
I’m so glad you went back to the hospital and had fluid drained from your lung. I was a bit shocked to read that you’d been sent home with a pneumothorax and fluid in your long.
On the drs becoming younger (like policeman!) my eldest grandson and his wife are both F2 doctors at a hospital in Edinburgh, 2 years out of med school. She looks about 16!
These doctors are like policemen - they should still be in short trousers! Glad she knew what she was doing and you feel better.
Blooming heck thats alot of fluid and so glad you had a really good doctor that dealt with the problem straight away. Rest up now whit and take it easy x
Glad you feel better whit after the young modern intervention treatment, theres something to be said for fresh eyes on a health condition , take care , stay well and keep warm snow is forecast to hit Uk in a week or so.
Delighted that you can breathe easier. One of my children is a senior cardiologist and at 33 is often mistaken for a teenager!
