I think it varies on where you live. I got reffered from the GP. and they called me within a couple of weeks to arrange a date. I had to wait about 8 weeks. I live near Leeds. Yorkshire. 😊

Are you in East or West Kent soppysokes? I am in East Kent and there is a brilliant community respiratory team here. However I dont know how long the waiting list is at present. Having done the PR course twice, I then used to do to a weekly maintenance session but sadly this has not been running since covid but PR courses are in East Kent. You could trying calling up the respiratory team in whichever side of Kent you are in. Just ask how long the waiting list is. Hope you get an answer.

Yes, as Patk1 wrote, ring them direct. Google ‘respiratory team’ for your area (the town rather than the county) and you should get their direct number. I did that after my GP referred me and got talking to a really friendly member of the respiratory team who said I could join in two weeks if I was willing to attend a group a bit further out than the more local ones, which I did and it worked out perfectly as it may have been half hour drive but there was plenty of parking.
