My husband has copd & unfortunately a routine scan showed up a tumour in one of his lungs. He is undergoing a course of SABR treatment. He is usually tired due to the copd & doesn't sleep well at night, but he is even more so at present. The nurse told him that once treatment is over he'll feel really tired. Has anyone experience of this treatment?

SABR treatment and tiredness
Sorry I can't help you from my own experience, Littleeak.
I did a quick search using the Health Unlocked search box, and found this post from the past on this forum: healthunlocked.com/asthmalu...
Hope it helps.
I dont have any advice to give Littleeak but would imagine after this treatment your husband would be very tired, so plenty of rest and tlc. Sending best wishes and hope he feels better soon x
My husband also had a tumor on his lung and had 5 treatments of SABR. Before starting treatment we had an appointment with the radiotherapist who explained to both of us exactly what would happen whilst treatment was in progress and the same for when treatment ended. That department phoned us every few days to see how was feeling. The treatment did shrink the tumor a lot. Good luck.
Thank you for the replies
Hi - I have had radiation treatment twice and each time I got very tired. It is insidious, and you just have to rest. Mine didn’t wear off for a couple of months afterwards. Good luck!
