Frightened of results of ct scan

Had cancer new I could fight that off but it feels like I have no energy left if my results are positive from my radiotherapy treatment. Can anyone give me any advise on how to get over this?

welcome to the forum Pauline.sometimes the worry is worse than the results.my attitude is - a diagnosis is a positive.treatment + management can then b targeted to the findings.hang on in there , if yr able perhaps go4 walk in park, or a coffee in nice cafe.keep busy + distract yr thoughts x

Welcome and best wishes. Radiotherapy is very tiring; no wonder your energy levels are low.

I really feel for you, Pauline-Ann. I have had cancer twice, and radiation therapy twice. I always thought I wouldn’t get tired, but it is insidious and leaves you quite exhausted, just at the time you need to be strongest. For me, to deal with the fear of waiting for results I had to acknowledge that I was doing all that I could with treatment for a positive outcome, and accept after that it was out of my hands. I am waiting for another CT scan at the moment.
