Fab u lous. Such a beautiful picture, I am sure they needed the water, along with the land. I have never known it so dry for so long and felt sad when I saw the news this morning with all the trees shedding their leaves, the country looks devastated. Lets hope we have a wet autumn x

The river Kent is so low outside my house that the swans are paddling. Still beautiful though.

They can be very nasty if you set of triggers for them protection of their families is a big issue 💜
Beautiful photograph Bb! I was at a wetland nature reserve in the Fens last week, a huge drop in the water levels in the marshy land and lake. The water buffalo were doing their best to keep cool.
It's difficult in this heat least we have had some rain albeit for a few mins hope you had a nice day out 💜

This is a river my lovley 🥰
When I was a kid there were a pair of swans planted in our city’s man made lake. Everyone fed them. They got pretty comfortable around people. But…from experience. Do not try to touch a swan couple. Those crazy birds can fight better then Bruce Lee!!!
