EDACand Bramitob

I’m taking Bramitob (28 day on/off cycle) to try and kill pseudomonas that pops up every 6 weeks or so due to my bronchiectasis. I have trouble clearing my lungs because of my lungs EDAC, and forced expiration is so bad for me. Unfortunately I am experiencing the side effects of Bramitob, one of it being a cough. My throat and trachea are very sore, and I’m only managing 1 dose of Bramitob instead of 2 now and again. Can anyone suggest how I can soothe my airways? I’m currently sipping a spoonful of Manuka honey and taking a mucus menthol cough mixture which seems to help for a couple of hours

If I start coughing I take lemsip in the form of a hot drink (but put half hot & half cold) according to the rules & for me personally it subdues any coughing

i always have one first thing in the morning & last thing at night & if I need one during the day then I make one

I find lemsip nice and comforting as well!

its the chesty cough one i use & i buy it regularly at an online british chemist regualrly - i buy about 10 boxes every couple of months to last me Ive only described it becausei dont know what the rules are about advertising names on the site
