Just Because its beautiful and its good to see 💜 ...
You get some wonderful scenes to capture in your part of the country Blackbird. I looked out of the window late last night to see just clear blue sky, pretty but nothing extraordinary. Thank you for sharing your scenes xx

Haven't heard anything from HH and am a bit worried as she hasn't replied to pm x
Stolen, please and thank you. I’ve decided to have one proper crack at selling my art, so I took 4 oil pastel pics to be framed last week ahead of a craft and gift fair stall I’ve booked for the start of December: two of them are based on your photos (the butterfly and the nightscape I’ve posted on here before). I’ve also got a couple of others in progress as paintings. If any of them sell, I should probably pay you some commission!! 😂
That's incredible Charlie ...Fingers crossed that your beautiful work comes to fruition ..
I'm very humbled 💙 I would love to see them framed x
My word- absolutely stunning bb. Thanks for sharing. My night time sky is obliterated by tall trees and buildings though I’m not in a city or town centre. Xx
A sight to behold. It puts me in mind of a Scottish artist who paints these types of scenes with these colours, love them. Many thanks Bb xxx 😊
Ken Bushce I think is the one Scottish artist I know that's paints scenery like this ...
There is a few artists from Scotland but they don't all paint and being Scottish myself I mean the Billy Connelys of the world 😉
Definitely. The artist I was thinking of is Pam Carter !
I have just googled the works are amazing... there is one stood out in particular where the clothes are blowing on a washing line ...just some memories awakening from childhood 🥰
Is it okay to ask where was your childhood, I mean vague area, understand if it's intrusive. Yes, her paintings are definitely captivating xxx
Not at all born and raised on the South side of Glasgow family of 13 children I'm the youngest at 65 ...Some have passed away now there's 8 of us left ...
Just the washing line reminded me of my mums washing lines on a Monday wash day hanging out bits after they had come through the wringer love the smell of sheets that have dried in the air ..
We had 4 tandem bikes with baskets for us smaller children and we all used to head of to the Killearn hills through thr day 😀
Wow, that was a handful for your mum, but I guess you all helped each other and had your own chores. Yes, love the sheets when air dried. My husband was born and brought up in Ayrshire not far south of you. You are a long way from your roots now but you give us some fantastic views of your life in the New Forest. Enjoy and thank you for your reply xxx😊
Oh my not too far away ...I guess you have been to Ayrshire on a holiday ...
I do miss Scotland and go home as often as possible...
Where are you in the world 🌎
We lived in Galloway for over 30 years but moved to Moray 5 years ago to be near our son due to age and health issues. Have settled fine, different climate, drier but colder, which means we shouldn't suffer from the heat this next week, as much as the south. Can expect too see you and Stan in the sea most of the time!!
Ah I'm so glad you have settled in Moray it can take ages to be comfortable somewhere new after living one place so long ...If its better for everyone's health and your all benefitting then it was the right thing to do ...
Where are you from originally...
I won't be out this weekend I enjoy the heat but its going to be awful and I have cancelled all my dog walks for Monday and Tuesday so far ...💜
Very sensible, keeping the dogs cool. Our 10 year old labrador only gets short walk in this heat, although we have been fortunate and haven't experienced your temperatures! I am a Yorkshire lass and came north to Edinburgh to do my training and never returned, so can just about count myself as Scottish, well...
Certainly not keen to break away from the rest of the UK though.
What did you train for ?
And yep your certainly counted as one of us ...
I love a lab cheeky ones are my favourite 😍
RGN. Not sure I'd you would call Jess cheeky but she definitely has a mind if her own, everything is done 'in her own time'.
Oh I trained also but as an ODP we worked in theatre only I assisted with ops and anaesthetics...
30 years I worked for the NHS wouldn't go back now for anything but they did ask at the start of the pandemic for me to go back ..
Jess sounds lovley 🥰
Beautiful.
