I tested +ve for Covid last week.

Went with wife yesterday for test and now both +ve!!

Which is a bugger as she is supposed to go into hospital for eye operation this week.

No doubt that will be put off which will mean our planned trip to Spain will be put off. It will then be close to summer holidays and not keen on being in large crowds simply to catch Covid again. Mr. Covid is starting to get annoying to say the least.

Good news is that since first symptoms and isoloating I have lost about 2kg. Will get extra "bronie points" from doctor when I next see him. So not all bad news. The sun is shining so can`t complain.

Sorry to hear that you both have covid. It's such a shame your wife's eye op will have to be postponed and your trip to Spain, I agree it wouldn't want to be there in the summer. Hope you feel well as soon. Have a lovely day both of you and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻

Hope you both make a full recovery soon. My stepdaughter has an aunt on her mother's side who has tested positive this week and was due to have a minor op this week which has been cancelled. The virus is still a bigger problem than many realise. Best wishes

At least in France powers that be seem to know what they are doing. before any hospital consultation, everybodyy going through the door has to show their vaccine certificate. Anyone going fo admission, -ve test certificate, or no admission. I see that Bojo the clown is now reducing number of tests on NHS and care workers. Typical short-sightedness from village idiot.

Oh! no what a time to get covid, will your wife have to wait long before she can get another appointment for her eye op? I know what you mean about being in away in the summer, my daughter has booked me a week in Tenerife in June. I am hoping it wont be too busy. Hope you wife gets well soon x

Look on the brightside. If there is a lengthy delay we will go away sooner then planned, i.e. as soon as we have -ve test.

Thank you. I`m sure things will be for the best. We just have to be careful where we go to. Campsite in Ampolla then up to Rioja region and visit friends we have not seen for 3 years. Long time when you are getting older, even if you think of yourself as still being young.

Hope you both recover soon and that this doesn't mess up your arrangements too much.

Thank you. Symptoms OK, it`s the cancellation of wife`s op that is a nuisance. On the bright side is the fact that if the op is put off for more than a month, we`ll get the caravan out now and visit friends in Spain. fewer people around, less traffic and campsites are less expensive than end of June early July.
