I like seeing something made out of wood and that’s great. Very clever. Xxx

That's very good. Must take quite a bit of time and some patience but I imagine that it can be a relaxing hobby.

It's very therapeutic and gives people a distraction they are the most creative when working in the sunshine just chatting to each other

I love wooden objects and this one is so skilfully crafted. Using the remains of the fallen tree in this way is such a great idea. Although it is so very sad to see a tree end its life in such a way it is such a positive outcome to see it continues to be of use with a new purpose. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to appreciate such a heart warming story.

Very raw and earthly ... very talented to achieve something like this from wood .. My hubby used to carve the Totam poles for the forestry commission annual show with his chainsaw and make rough garden furniture for the children when they were very young ...

We used to own and run a local sawmill but closed 20 years ago now very sadly was a great way of life especially in the summer ☀️

Oh wow ! I would love to be able to do that ! I bought my husband a set of woodworking knives and chisels a few years ago but sadly he’s not been well enough to use them so I’m hoping to have a go at some point . I even have a fallen tree , part of an ancient rowan was rotting at the bottom so I pulled it over before it fell on my greenhouse and as I’ve no means of moving it ( and I quite like it ) I made a feature of it , laid it across a corner surrounded by conifers etc and it makes a nice seat for the younger grandchildren 😊

You’re very lucky 😃 but I don’t fancy a chain saw 😧 I was thinking more of bit of whittling with a twig for starters 😂
