Donna Quixote, that's me, taking on a giant

Scrolling down my facebook page I saw an advert for Lignosus, an all natural product to care for/strengthen lungs. I have no idea whether it's total rubbish or performs miracles my argument is with their advert.

Take our test it said. Hold your breath and see how many times the dot rotates...

I did and my results came back as normal lungs.

This came as a surprise, my Fev1 is 26%, I'm starting oxygen therapy soon as my O2 levels keep dropping dangerously low. I have constrictive/restrictive breathing.

My argument is - If some-one is worried about their breathing, doesn't want to bother the doctor/is finding it difficult to get an appointment, takes the test. They may think their lungs are okay, not seek medical help and so their condition may go undiagnosed and get worse.

I left a comment saying the test was ridiculous, the company set me a private message asking what my symptoms are. I have given a full reply and told them why I think their advert and test are wrong.

Watch this space to find out if windmills can be conquered of if they fight back.

Sancho Scruff's has declared that after investigation Lignosus en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligno... known as Tiger milk mushroom, would be the equivalent of snake oil in treating lung conditions and Zebra decided that milking tigers was not something she wished to experience and like Scruff's she retreated to a safe distance.

Good for you wheezyof. Sounds like they are just small cogs on a giant wheel who think they can mislead people. Interesting to know if you get a reply. Xxx👍😘

You did the right thing it seems to be a rediculous advert and can certainly do more harm than good. Thank you for the warning. Have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻

Hallo. I have modereate to severe COPD. I tried 3 months of Lignosus but I didn't find it made any difference. It was pretty expensive too.
