Lungs hurting

My lungs have been hurting today & have been short of breath & today not been alble to help teach the english class .I think what ahs affected it is although my room is warm there is cold air outside & a draft seems to have come in

It didnt help much cos last night I lifted up some heavy rubbish so I think thats had a hand in it & its painful

I've got my scan on my lungs on monday -Im a bit concerned that one of the results will be that I've torn something on it because of the heavy lifting

Im pretty confident that they will say that the inflamation has come on more -& I know that in due course I will have no choice but to be hooked up to a breathing machine like before when I was in hospital in august last year & a longer stay

Do try to avoid heavy lifting,if u can.also I find even bulky lightweight lifting eg box/ parcel tough.it does affect breathing.hope scan goes well x

Oh dear.full bottles would be heavy.lifting +carrying is hard with breathing probs.perhaps nx time, try to just take 1 bag, separating days or a few hours between.xxx

I did check this with my mum & she said keep it all in the jars/bottles -My mum tends to take my rubbish upto her house & keep it with theirs cos they collect it every 3 weeks & they ddint want to be cutting themselves on broken jars/bottles

It impigned on me being able to teach asssit my class on wednesday

Hi Sara , I have non specific interstatial lung disease. I'm also on mycophenolate 3 tablets twice a day and constant blood tests so I have sympathy .

I'm off work at the moment after a course of cyclophosphamide and prednisolone which unfortunately didn't have any effect .

They don't know the cause of mine which is frustrating.

I hope things go OK for you

Aww Thanks . My emotion hurts because I was born with all perfect organs & I thought that as a result of slight misdemeanours when I lived away (twice smoking now & again) had very slowly over years brought it on) but my doctor just said it was just an inflamation

Hi , I've never smoked yet I've still ended up with it too, so dont beat yourself up . My docs have done all sorts of blood tests and a biopsy but are unable to find out what is causing the inflammation .

My doctor said it wasnt to do with the smoking just an inflamation - seems sehs saying it just appears - Twice Ive requested a transplant & twice ive been refused
