Having suffered with COPD for several years, am wondering if anyone has had any experience of using the AirPhysio device to help dislodge mucus from lungs? Any opinions/findings would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, it does help me. I don’t have COPD- I have severe asthma with a lot of mucus. I don’t use it all the time, just when my normal clearance techniques aren’t successful.
I have one which I only used once before suffering form a pneumothorax and had to have my lung drained of air. After returning home I or some reason re-read the leaflet and it advised not to use the device if you had ever suffered thar condition so mine is sat here unused. Should you be interested in buying it thus saving yourself money do let me know.
I have been wondering if it would help my asthma too. I got a salt pipe and that seems to help clear mucus, like breathing sea air.
Write Aerosure in the search bar to find historic info.

[[I use one everyday using both settings you need to keep the removal head clean with Milton before and after use ensuring it is dry before use and do not cough into the head. I breathe in and take the Aerosure away from my mouth to breathe out and or cough to expel mucus using tissue. The first setting is for removal of mucus and the second setting is to strengthen the lungs and a contraindication is don’t use if it hurts to use. I am no expert in whether it will help you but in my personal experience it has helped me I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis at the age of 15 and am now in my 70s. I would normally lead a very active life walking and singing in a choir and the reasons for buying are because inactivity due to lockdown makes my condition worse with increasing mucus.
If you decide to buy one I recommend that you buy the one with the spare head and mouth piece. Really we are all different and the only way to find out is to try but if it’s no good for you it’s an expensive buy if you cannot use it best wishes]]
Yes I use the AirPhysio and do find it useful. If you decide to invest look up the videos on You Tube , it shows you the correct way to use it.
I have a similar (and cheaper!) device and I like it a lot! I sometimes think it does more for me than all the expensive inhalers I use.
