Mucus is a constant nuisance Ken and doesn’t seem to go completely. Pete has his nebuliser twice a day which seems to help. Hope you have a good Christmas too. Take care. Xxx👍💜

I Nebulise twice daily, do postural drainage afterwards and whenever needed, also use Aerobika and take 4 daily Carbocisteine that thins mucus, also use Ultibro.. Was born with defective lungs, sinuses etc. Still active at 86. Hope this helps. Jean

Mine doesnt trouble me in the night lying down either, Ken. Im kind of getting used to idea of having to live with it but what is hard is the spasm cough I cant control when coughing the stuff up. Take care :)

Hi Ken. Like you I don't have a problem with mucus through the night, it just seems to be a pest throughout the day! Thank you for your good wishes, wishing you a very Happy Christmas too xxx😊🎄

I use a nebuliser 4 times a day with both salbutamol and saline in it and my mucus is getting a lot better.

Hi Ken, it's a pest, I have spent the last hour trying to get the mucus out using my acapella device just about done in now with success and half a box of tissues later phew.🤮

I find laying down makes my mucus problem worse, so I now have an adjustable bed and sleep sitting with my trunk fairly upright. It does vary day to day, and if it is a bad one, I ask my wife to rattle my back with our hand-held vibrating gun. This usually helps to shift the muck. Also "huffing" as well can get it up. I suppose our body makes mucus for some good reason; I wonder what that is!

I used to take an antihistamine when things got bad and used menthol crystals that helped me breathe easier. Sorry you cant find anything to help but keep trying there will be something that can help you x
