This morning I got a letter to say my NHS records show me as not having my booster jab. Did I say in "catch up " every thing went well (smiles) I have contacted them and had a form filled in which then takes 21 days for them to contact you to get things put right. Guess I am lucky I got one if my records are incorrect. However on the plus side its on the GPs records already, recorded on my patient online records. Pat on the back for our local surgeries & chemists .

Good to hear Katie, a pat on the back indeed. Xxxx🥰💜
I had a similar letter after my first covid vaccine and ignored it as I had proof and it showed up on my NHS records as having been given. I think the system gets it's knickers in a bit of a twist sometimes.
I have learned something today. I didn't know the "system" wore knickers. No I suppose they are metaphorical ones, not ones you could buy in M&S. Lol 😂🤣
Probably not Dave, M&S isn't what it used to be!
Ha Ha yes I think it was mean't metaphorical , Oh and in my M&S there is a shortage of such goods (smiles)
Shortage oh dear. Just reminds me of something that happened many years ago. A young lady was leading an older lady by the hand and she was getting slower and slower. The young lady turned around to see what was wrong. The next thing, she stooped down and removed the older lady's knickers/bloomers. Obviously they had been slipping down. Perhaps the elastic waistband had gone. Although observing from a distance as a young man, I found it funny. So embarrassing for the older lady though. Being older myself now and more aware of problems that older people have, I would be more understanding. 🩲
My husband went to the local chemist to get his flu jab and was told he couldn't have it as he had already had it done at the surgery!
Phoned the surgery and spoke to a very patient receptionist who checked and said, 'No, he hasn't had it.' She then checked another screen which showed that he had it done at the surgery. The entry was done by the nurse he had a telephone appointment with on that day.
We all agreed she must have magic powers to do the flu jab over the phone!🤣🤣🤣
The receptionist got it corrected and phoned next day to confirm it was done.

Hi MoyB your story confirms mine about computers, glad you got it sorted.
Computers don't tell lies. It is either the programmer or data inputter who got it wrong. Computers only do what they are told to do. Lol 🤗
Oh, not sure I agree with that. My computer definitely knows its own mind! I often get close to throwing it out of the window. Once I threaten it, it often submits and behaves for a while. 🤣🤣🤣Xx Moy
Correct, however computers do bring up old data if not cleaned regularly. And what about shared computers like a network. And what about microsoft and google who won't allow things on their domain so you can't use it on your personel computer. That means another inputer decides what you do or dont receive on your system and it might clash with what you want. Its a mindfield and will be the way people have to do it in future, maybe the only way . Perhaps we should go to verbal which is recorded so we can detect errors . My computer puts two capitals when I start a sentence I can assure you I have not asked it to or pressed the wrong button it happens all the time, as does my phone keep changing lay out and adding programs I have not put on my apps. These are internet connected if you have windows and are not as private as we would like.
I’ve had two of those letters. I had my third jab at the beginning of October!
I was told at my booster jab appointment that there was no record of me getting any covid vaccine 😅 Luckily I had physical proof in cards issued after jabs! They eventually 'found' me on another system
🤔
Sadly its not the computers but the peoole who input the incorrect information, it used to be called operator error. Good to hear it will now be put right x
Oh. That is such a struggle and I hope that you succeed in resting well to let yourself recover Lots of good positive advice already so I wish you strength to cope with the iv’s. Grace
