Mini Break!!

Just an update from me. Its day 22 out of hospital, and I have come to stay with my parents! The move over was tough for all, was a busy day and fatigue hit me in the end, but in the absence of anxiety, it was just me feeling achy and tired.

Got an ok nights sleep, and will see what the day brings.

Oh, managed the stairs ok too.

Woke up with that weak shoulder feeling, just seems to be where i get fatigue symptoms... one of the wierd things post covid I guess.

Well done for getting up the stairs as that's a great leap forward!

Hope you have a great and restful time at your parents. I DO think you are being too hard on yourself and worrying too much when only 3 weeks out of hospital!Look at how well you are doing. Especially with the stairs!!

Well, I ended up climbing the stairs 3 times today! My legs feel a bit weak now, but I guess thats just because they are weak! Time for rest!

It’s wonderful that you were able to transition to your parent's home for awhile. Their loving care may be what you need to take the next step in your recovery. Good sleep, home cooked meals and a little stair exercise sounds just right! Best wishes!

Good nights sleep again, legs still a bit wobbly, but 3 x stair climb dose take it out of you! Will rest more today, although need to try a full shower today! Those bath washes have to end sometime, and I have a lovely new bath seat to help me!

I was hit by a fatigue attack last night, but I remembered my mindfulness, and focused on my breathing, and calmed down, and was soon off to sleep! I did feel terrible for a bit, but I got this.

You may find yourself a bit dizzy having a shower after feeling so unwell. Maybe see if there's some sort of stool you can put in the shower to help support you. Hope you continue to improve. Being back home with Mum and Dad should be a great medicine in itself.
