Hi I just thought I'd share something that others may or may not find useful...I have bronchiectasis and Crohn's, several months ago my consultant suggested I try manuka honey for my Crohn's, I've been taking a tablespoon a day since then and although I've not really noticed any difference with my Crohn's my chest has been amazing, I hardly cough any more and I've even stopped using my inhalers and nebuliser, hopefully this continues as I will continue to take my manuka on a daily basis....

Hi Lebod. I have lifelong bronchiectasis. Sadly honey has never done anything for me. If it helps you that is fantastic so go for it !

Like you I have that irritating bronchiectasis cough so I am delighted you have found something that helps. How long have you now been taking the Manuka honey? If you continue to find its beneficial in a few months time please let us know. Its good to hear of some good news. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I take 1 tablespoon daily, it has to be over a certain number I buy the +55 from Holland and Barrett it's expensive but when they got the penny offers on you can pick two up for around £35.00, also look for Holland and Barrett discounts

Currently they have the penny sale on plus if you look on the Holland and Barrett website it gives you an extra 20% off too....if you so end up buying it regularly get a loyalty card too as the extra points you collect can be used off your next purchase....I hope it works for everyone else as well as it has for me

I managed to get to Holland and Barratt today after the hospital and got the 2 and the 20% discount, although they didnt know how to apply that at the till, I brought the site up on my phone and scanned it in at the till which worked. I also checked it was Manuka from New Zealand which made me confident buying it for a great price. Thanks Lebod x

That's interesting. Exercise has helped me. I'm scared to say how long it's been since I last had an infection
