yesterday, after my tough weekend with breathlessness, my partner went home and said he would see me this weekend. He could only just have arrived home when I almost passed out cleaning my car, fell against the side, went inside as was heaving for breath and was then was very sick. This is a crisis point for me as I never even had ‘morning sickness’ when pregnant,
I phoned my partner who said enough.... and ushered me in his car to go to A and E.
I was seen in 10 minutes under the Triage system and in a short time had an ECG, blood tests, candula inserted, Chest x-ray, Oxygen levels tested etc. Saw a lovely doctor who said possible hernia but sickness and breathlessness coming from gall bladder problems and stomach swollen! am seeing general surgeon next month.
God Bless our NHS, I was so grateful and impressed with the kindness, efficiency and professionalism shown to me.

Thank you, I was alarmed, my partner is of Polish descent and does not mess around. I was in the car before I had time to argue and actually I was glad it was out of my hands.the kindness received was overwhelming.
So sorry to hear of your ordeal Sops, but so so glad your partner was able to come quickly and rush you to A&E and you got great care and thorough checks from the NHS staff.
You take things easy now - take car to the car wash.
Scary time for you Sops and great that you had good treatment from the nhs, along with swift support from your partner. I had a few problems with gall stones a couple of years ago and had the bladder out in the end. Hope you get this sorted soon x
Wow, that is absolutely lovely ,i used to enjoy embroidery but eyesight not good enough now. My daughter is a milliner and makes the most intricate stitches. If we go anywhere to look at rival hats, she always looks inside for quality of craftsmanship.(all milliners seem to do this, rumour has it)
Your skill is evident and working with such a large canvas must be difficult. I really love it!
Thank you, millinery is a beautiful craft. I do stitching. I chose a chart and always it is going to be a gift for someone. I get joy just stitching for that person. Apologies for being a bit maudlin. But hey ho, every breath x
Thsnk you, feel worn out and breathless but see a general surgeon end or October-am reading a lot and staying out of the sun, shame but it wears me out.
Have tried, also plain me pots i have grown, great for about 3 hours then i am either very nauseous or sick. Have lost over 4 kilos in last 6 weeks. Rolled oats porridge the same, so have bought fine organic on home delivery, this seems to be staying with me so far, ginger biscuits and ginger tea are only relief. Will try another half of baked today for dinner, see if i can manage, thank you so much for help, do appreciate it.
