Firstly i would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for your kind messages. I am over the worst & feeling 90% better just have no smell or taste so hopefully they will return soon. I took another test today which was negative, just need to get through this isolating. I must say without the 2 jabs i most certainly would of been admitted to hospital. Keep safe everyone x

Glad to hear you are getting better!

I suspect I had covid back in 2019 before it was officially christened but had passed it off as a cold and lots of others were sick the same time I was!

I was the same thought it was my dreaded chest infection didn't feel as rough as I normally did so brushed it off few days later as I started to feel better my hubby came down with the same symptoms so we suspect we had covid without realising. Didn't get the no taste and smell though.. alp jabs done just waiting for news on the booster

My daughter is 1 week post Covid after two jabs. Test and trace told her the lack of taste and smell last 2-3 weeks after your well. She was also told not to test herself or have a pcr test or do a lateral flow test for 90 days because you could get a false positive result from dead Covid cells left in your body. She did a lateral flow test which was negative because she didn’t want to risk coming to see me if she didn’t know - I’m cev.
